How to De-stress

Stress is something many people face in their daily lives. With our hectic work schedule, it’s no doubt that we are bound to face with various stressors. A bit of stress is definitely necessary, but sometimes, too much stress is a bad thing. So how can we cope with stress?

Here are 5 ways we can deal with stress:

  2. Make use of aromatherapyAromatherapy is the use of essential oils to improve the health of the individual in body, mind, or spirit. Aromatherapy is known for helping you relax, sleep, and boost your mood.There are many ways to use aromatherapy for stress relief. Many people use scented candles, diffusers, or even body products. Some scents that work well to relief stress includes lavender, ylang ylang, peppermint, and rosemary.
  3. Play some soothing musicListening to music when you’re feeling stress can have a relaxing effect on your mind and body. Slow, classical music has shown to have a physiological effect on the body such as slowing the pulse, heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and decreasing the levels of stress hormones.Singing or shouting can also help relieve the stress!
